Leave it to dry and proceed to sand it so that it is uniform. To extend it, we can use a rubber spatula and leave it as smooth as possible. We will do it little by little and not on the whole surface at one time since, as we have said, it will not give us time and the putty will begin to harden, and very careful since as they apply it is how it is going to stay. We start applying putty on the outside of the helmet. Be very careful with this because it acts very fast and in 3-5 minutes approximately begin to notice how the putty is hardening and every time we find it more complicated to apply it on the surface of the helmet. When we buy putty, it comes with a catalyst, an agent that we add in a 2% mixture that causes it to harden as much as a stone. This process is the most laborious of the whole project, so we must arm ourselves with enough patience and lots of sand. In my case I used normal polyester putty. There is the option to buy it with fiberglass included. The next step is to cover our already hardened model with polyester putty, or also called automotive trimmer. This process has to be done very fast to prevent the fiber from drying out before it picks up the shape we want. I did it following this tutorial, where it is explained to us that we must cut it into small pieces and stick it to strokes with acrylic resin. Next, and to provide our hunt of a good hardness and consistency, we will apply a layer of fiberglass.įiberglass can be applied in several ways. For the inner layer we will do a similar process: remove the sticks and apply a first layer of acrylic resin to have a consistent base. With this we already have the outer layer of the Bio-Helmet of Predator completely dry and hard. To avoid it, 2 cross-shaped sticks on the inside of the helmet, we give a layer of resin on the outside and wait for it to dry. As the resin is liquid the paper will be moistened for a moment and we can deform the model that has cost us so much paste. Once the paper mold is ready, touch it to harden it with acrylic resin, which can be found in any paint shop.

At the time of writing, about half (5.5 million) of all WoW players were Chinese while just under a third (2.5 million) were North American (Blizzard Entertainment 2008). We have studied WoW modding in China and the United States, focusing on the largest single national group of players - the Chinese - and our own local player community. WoW is a transnational game, available in seven languages, providing an opportunity to examine issues of culture with a stable artifact as anchor. Most modders work for free, but the distribution sites are commercial enterprises with advertising. Technically minded players with an interest in extending the game write mods and make them available to players for free download on distribution sites. Since late-2005, we have been studying World of Warcraft (WoW) in which the use of mods is an important aspect of player practice (Nardi and Harris 2006 Nardi et al. By 1996, with the release of Quake, end-user modifications had come to be known as “mods,” and modding was an accepted part of the gaming community (Kucklich 2005 Postigo 2008a, b). Players were able to pass on their modifications to others. Learning from this experience, id Software released Doom in 1993 with isolated media files and open source code for players to develop custom maps, images, sounds, and other utilities. In 1992, players altering Wolfenstein 3-D (1992), a first person shooter game made by id Software, overwrote the graphics and sounds by editing the game files. Spacewar! evolved into arcade games including Space Wars produced in 1977 by Cinematronics (Sotamaa 2003). Modding - end-user modification of commercial hardware and software - can be traced back at least to 1961 when Spacewar! was developed by a group of MIT students on a DEC PDP-1. I don't know the significance of that - references to "linux-devkit" on the web seem to be TI-centric, and I am naive in rebuilding kernels and what-have-you. I'd rebuild it, except it seems to have come pre-built in the Processor SDK under "linux-devkit", source code not supplied. Meanwhile, this page /./NL80211_TESTMODE.html suggests that this "testmode" thing should not be in our build of wpa_supplicant. I cannot even begin to fathom what that might be, and I can't google up any references that enlighten me. Trouble is, that requires a bunch of dependencies and I'm really uncertain how to get them in place and consistent with the build on this board.Īnother possibility would be to fix the problem so that testmode "membership" does work. So I thought I could build v2.4 of wpa_supplicant and side-step the issue. In any case, I don't know what "testmode" is, and whether we need it (our design brief is pretty straightforward: connect to a network of known SSID/passphrase). That driver seems to be associated with the related "hostap" project, but I don't know how the two intersect. What is not clear to me is how that branch could make it into the binary that is on my board (it is, grep finds the error message in the binary at /usr/sbin/wpa_supplicant on my device). However, there is a branch of the driver hosted at /./f19c3bbaf916c25344c4bf43e24783c809071dca that does. I've downloaded both versions 2.1 and 2.4 of wpa_supplicant (main branch), and the source code does not include this feature. The key failure point seems to be "Could not add. Wlan0: cancel_sched_scan called when no sched scan Wlan0: P2P: Station mode scan operation not pending anymore (sta_scan_pending=0 p2p_cb_on_scan_complete=0) Nl80211: Could not add multicast membership for testmode events: -2 (No such file or directory) Initializing interface 'wlan0' conf '/etc/wpa_nf' driver 'nl80211' ctrl_interface 'N/A' bridge 'N/A'Ĭonfiguration file '/etc/wpa_nf' -> '/etc/wpa_nf' Random: Trying to read entropy from /dev/random The problem is that when we try to start wpa_supplicant against our USB WiFi dongle, which is based on the Realtek RT5370 device, the driver generates the following error log and will not wpa_supplicant -B -i wlan0 -c /etc/wpa_nf -dd -Dnl80211 In any case, this problem seems to be around the nl80211 driver built into wpa_supplicant, so I doubt the board details are relevant. The board is based on a Beaglebone Black, but lacks HDMI, ethernet. We have got as far as a running Linux system on our bespoke AM335x board. The song was based on the instrumental Bajagić played at Terazijska česma on March 9, 1991. The album featured the anti-war ballad "Golubica" ("She-Pigon"). The 93 album Muzika na struju (Electric Music). At the beginning of 1990, Bajaga i Instruktori performed in Timişoara, Romania, on a rock festival organized two months after the fall of Nicolae Ceauşescu.ĭuring 1992, despite the outbreak of the Yugoslav Wars, Bajaga i Instruktori performed and held successful concerts in Macedonia and Slovenia. In Split, fans of local football club threw various objects on the stage, but after the intervention of the security the concert was continued. Again they toured Yugoslavia but growing nationalism already stirred. After some band changes Bajagi recorded ‘Prodavnica tajni’(The Secrets Shop) in 1988 named after Dino Buzzati book La boutique del mister. The band also recorded a cover of The Beatles song ‘All You Need Is Love’ as a give away 7" single given as a gift with an issue of Rock magazine before the album release. For the third album the band got company from a string of guest appearances amongst whom Josipa Lisac on vocals in "Ja mislim 300 na sat" ("I Think 300 kmph"), Kornelije Kovač, bass guitarist Bata Božanić, Rajko Kojić (Bajagić's former bandmate from Riblja Čorba and more. At the end of 1985, in the magazine Rock, they were voted Rock Band of the Year, Bajagić the Rock Musician of the Year. An extensive tour followed, in part with Bijelo Dugme with whom they performed in Moscow. At the beginning of 1985, the band recorded the album ‘Sa druge strane jastuka’ (On the Other Side of the Pillow). The success of Bajagić's solo album caused for conflicts inside Riblja Čorba and eventually he was kicked out. For the liveshows they changed the name into Bajaga i Instruktori, chosen after the idea of the journalist Peca Popović. Bajagić had no intention of promoting Pozitivna geografija in concert, but eventually decided to listen to the advices of some and hold several concerts. The album ‘Pozitivna geografija’ (Positive Geography), released in 1984, turned ou to be much more succesfull then expected. Essentially Bajagić just wanted to record a solo album but remain a member of Riblja Čorba. In 1983 he assembled a group around him from bandmembers of popular bands like Tilt, Suncokret and Ofi. Aftrer also this band fell apart he joined popular rockband Riblja Čorba. After TNT disbaned in 1976 Bajagić joined the band Ofi led by organist Toma "Ofinger" Stojković. Momčilo Bajagić "Bajaga" started his musical career as a singer for the band TNT. |
